What Staypal Does
Staypal is a software platform that enables Hosts to:

Proactively message guests on WhatsApp after a booking is confirmed

Automate guest communication (e.g. check-in instructions, FAQs, house rules)
-
Use AI-powered responses for routine guest queries
-
Escalate specific cases to the Host when required
Staypal communicates with guests using a Staypal-controlled WhatsApp number, acting as an automated assistant on behalf of the Host.
What Staypal Is Not
Staypal is not:

A booking platform
-
A property manager or co-host
-
A legal, financial, or operational representative of the Host
-
Responsible for the physical property, guest conduct, damages, or reviews
Staypal is a tool, not a replacement for Host responsibility.
Guest Communication & WhatsApp
3.1 Message Initiation
Once booking details are provided or connected, Staypal initiates communication with guests on WhatsApp. There is no mirroring, syncing, or reading of Airbnb or OTA message threads.
3.2 Message Sending Guarantee
Staypal guarantees the initiation of message sending through WhatsApp once correctly triggered.
However, Staypal does not guarantee:
-> Message delivery
-> Message receipt
-> Message being read
-> Guest response
These depend on third-party platforms, including WhatsApp and the guest’s device/network.
Host Responsibilities
You agree that you are solely responsible for:

Providing accurate guest information
-
Having a lawful basis and consent to contact guests on WhatsApp
-
Complying with Airbnb, OTA, and platform rules
-
Reviewing and approving message templates and automation logic
-
Monitoring escalations and guest issues when notified
Staypal assumes all guest data provided by you is shared lawfully and with consent.
AI & Automation Limitations
Staypal uses AI to generate automated responses.
You acknowledge and agree that:

AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually incorrect
-
Staypal does not guarantee correctness of AI-generated responses
-
Final responsibility for guest communication rests with the Host
Staypal may escalate conversations, but failure to escalate does not create liability.
Third-Party Services
Staypal relies on third-party services, including but not limited to:

WhatsApp
-
Cloud infrastructure providers
-
AI model providers
Staypal is not responsible for:
-
Outages
-
Delays
-
Policy changes
-
Account restrictions imposed by third parties
Data & Privacy
Staypal processes guest data on behalf of the Host for the purpose of guest communication.
By using Staypal, you authorise us to:

Store and process guest messages
-
Use message data to operate and improve the service
Staypal does not sell guest data.
Fees & Access

Certain features may be paid or subscription-based
-
Fees, if any, will be disclosed prior to billing
-
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
-> Staypal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
-> Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Staypal in the preceding 3 months
-> Staypal is not liable for:

Guest behaviour
-
Property damage
-
Lost bookings
-
Platform bans or penalties
