This Privacy Policy applies to Hosts who use Staypal and guests who receive or send messages via Staypal on WhatsApp.

The Host is the primary customer. Staypal processes guest data on behalf of the Host.

Information provided by Hosts may include:

  • Host name and contact details
  • Property information
  • Message templates and automation rules
  • Guest details, such as name, phone number, and booking dates
  • WhatsApp messages sent and received
  • Message timestamps and delivery metadata
  • Files or images shared during communication
  • Device and browser data for Hosts
  • Log data, usage metrics, and error and performance data

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Send WhatsApp messages to guests on behalf of Hosts
  • Operate AI-powered guest communication
  • Escalate messages to Hosts when required
  • Improve platform reliability and features
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues

No Advertising Use

We do not use guest data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Legal Basis & Consent

Hosts confirm they have a lawful basis and consent to share guest contact details with Staypal.

Guests interact with Staypal after being contacted on behalf of the Host. Staypal acts as a data processor, and the Host acts as the data controller for guest data.

WhatsApp & Third-Party Services

Staypal relies on third-party services, including WhatsApp (Meta), cloud hosting providers, and AI and infrastructure providers.

Guest messages are transmitted via WhatsApp and are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policies. Staypal is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

Data Sharing

We may share data only with:

  • Service providers required to operate Staypal
  • Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell or rent personal data.
